Violins for Advanced Level
We are pleased to offer the outstanding value, full projection and well balanced high quality sounding "The Kotz" violins. These violins are for advanced students and teachers who are looking for a great violin, and are willing to spend a bit more for a higher quality sounding instrument.
Mr. Kotz is one of the best contemporary violin and bow maker in the world. He learned violin making in Cremona, Italy and bow making with French bow makers and has received 9 Gold medals, 1 Silver medal and 19 Certificates for his violin and bow making awarded from International competitions held in Italy, Canada and the USA.
He trained violin makers in the Italian tradition as well as bow makers in the French method. All instruments are inspected and adjusted by him at his workshop in Philadelphia.
All violins made using aged European spruce top, nicely flamed maple back and scroll, ebony or box wood fittings, antique vanish, Aubert French bridge, Dominant or Obligato strings and with a quality oblong case.
