He studied violin making in Cremona, Italy and bow making with French bow makers and has received 9 Gold medals, 1 Silver medal and 19 Certificates for his violin and bow making from International competitions held in Italy, Canada and the USA. He trained violin makers in the Italian tradition as well as bow makers in the French traditions. All instruments are inspected and adjusted by him at his workshop in Philadelphia. All violins made using aged European spruce top, nicely flamed maple back and scroll, ebony or box wood fittings, antique vanish, Aubert French bridge, Dominant or Obligato strings and with a quality oblong case.
